Wenddors

Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 October 2026

This policy explains what information Wenddors collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to be read — if anything is unclear, the contact details at the end are the place to ask.

1. What Wenddors Collects

When you use Wenddors as a couple:

  • your mobile number or email address, used to sign you in;
  • the name you give, and your date of birth if you choose to add it;
  • when you accepted these terms.

When you list a business, also:

  • the business name, category, description, address, city, state and PIN code;
  • its cover image, logo, and the photos and videos you upload to its portfolio.

Wenddors does not collect payment details, because it does not take payments.

2. How It Is Used

  • to sign you in and keep you signed in;
  • to show your profile name to vendors you contact;
  • to publish business listings that have been reviewed and approved;
  • to keep the service secure and prevent abuse;
  • to meet legal obligations.

Your information is not sold, and it is not used for third-party advertising.

3. What Is Public

An approved business listing is public: anyone can see its name, category, description, full address, city, cover, logo and portfolio, and search engines may index it. Your personal profile as a couple is not public.

4. Sign-in Codes

One-time codes expire after five minutes and are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form, so the code itself cannot be read back from storage.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

Wenddors uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries, all needed for the service to work:

  • sign-in cookies that keep you signed in — they cannot be read by scripts on the page;
  • a cookie that remembers the city you picked, so listings show vendors near you;
  • a browser storage entry that remembers whether you last used the couples’ side or the business side.

There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

6. Who It Is Shared With

Information is shared only with service providers that help run Wenddors — such as hosting, storage, and the services that deliver sign-in codes by SMS or email — and only for that purpose; or where the law requires it.

7. How Long It Is Kept

Your information is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, it is closed straight away and your personal information is permanently removed after a 30-day grace period, in case you change your mind. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires.

8. Your Choices

  • see and correct your details from your profile;
  • change the mobile number or email you sign in with;
  • delete your account from your profile;
  • ask for a copy of your information, or raise a concern, using the contact details below.

These choices reflect your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

9. Security

Wenddors uses measures such as encrypted connections, scrambled sign-in codes and sign-in cookies that page scripts cannot read. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep access to your phone and inbox safe.

10. Children

Wenddors is for people aged 18 and over and does not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy may change as Wenddors changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and significant changes will be announced before they apply.
